How We Measure

Sizes vary between brands and models, and pre-owned items may have shrunk or stretched over time. That is why every listing includes actual measurements of the item, taken by hand. Compare them with a similar piece you own and that fits you well – it is the most reliable way to choose the right size.

How we take measurements

All measurements are taken in centimetres, with the item laid flat and zipped or buttoned up.

  • Width (pit to pit) – straight across the front, from one armpit seam to the other.
  • Length – down the centre of the back, from the collar or hood seam to the bottom hem.
  • Sleeve length – from the armpit seam to the end of the cuff.

Measurements are taken by hand, so please allow a tolerance of about 1–2 cm.

How to measure your own clothing

Take a jacket, hoodie or top that fits you well, lay it flat on a table and measure it the same way as described above. Then compare the numbers with the measurements in our listing.
